Tokyo Trip Day 3 Odaiba in the evening

From Asakusa, we took the subway to Shinbashi station which we then glanced around Shinbashi without wandering much though. We then headed for Yurikamome (a Seagull logo as you can see one of my picture), which the train will bring you to Odaiba, a refilled land.

The train will cross the famous Rainbow Bridge, after which you can choose to alight at any of the station in Odaiba.

As we arrived almost at 3pm (the sun was going to set soon that day due to Dec period). we decided to alight at AquaCity where we could see some scenic icons (and that was all we could do).
((Next time if we will to come back to Tokyo again, we will allocate 1 whole day for Odaiba visiting.))

We were just in time for sunset that day. Shortly after we alighted and walk to the square near AquaCity, we were able to see the fireball going down behind Nikko Hotel. At that moment, we also took some nice pictures of FujiTV Building (the one with round globe which looks like some
satellite station, very hi-tech I would say) on the backdrop. When night fell, the building displayed a hugh Christmas tree on the surface of the building itself. Christmas songs such as White Christmas, Winter Wonderland etc.. were heard at the park, The mood of Christmas set in on us early (even though it was only 3 Dec), I thought I was romancing in Paris...

Perhaps it was better to take the pictures of Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo Tower and the Statue of Liberty (All in1) at dusk and before the night set in. Reason because we do not have tripod for night shots. We were cold and our hands were shivering so badly.

We decided to hide into AquaCity Building for some warm. We ate Burger King despite being in Japan. We ordered 2 burgers for the kids and some fries and hot drinks. We recki around Daiso. It was comparatively wise, cheaper than SG because everythings were ¥100 (with tax ¥107). We saw
many familiar products and we grabbed some stationaries. Can you imagine my husband grabbing few wraps of black sticky tapes just because they were cheaper there. We also got things like pens and files to add weight to luggage (haha).. very odd.. duh..

Outside became colder, the kids had their chilled Rebina brought from SG without the need to add ice. We deicded to return to Tokyo land.

We visited Ginza awhile since we were there. Walked around the streets and recki their combini shop (convenience shop) for some onigiri and drinks. We then decided to go back to the hotel.

We had our dinner just a stone throw away from our hotel. We like this small eating house very much. Not only was the location convenient, the food were cheap and tasty. We love the Fuji soba and Katsudon. The portion were just nice. It was run by an ojiisan. He run the cafe and cooked everything all by himself. Just insert your Yen and get the tickets outside the shop. Then hand it to the ojiisan at the counter. Sit and wait for your order. When it's ready, he will shout your order and you will self service your food to your seat. Get your own cup of warm water at the order area, it's free. After your meal, return your own tray please, at the returning bay.

My blog continues for Day 4 where we spend our next day at Tsujiki Fish Market in the not-so-early morning.
