Metta 宝宝 - July 2009

Metta 宝宝 said that she wants to go school. So fast right? From a baby, she becomes a naughty toddler.

 

Last week I brought her to Sheng Siong, she touched the eggs and I asked her not to touch. She started to cry. I ask her not to cry while I squard down to select the eggs. She hit me using her palm and said "打妈妈". I was a bit shocked. This was the first time she did that to me. Shoppers and passer-by looked at us. 

 

I looked stern and said "No, 不可以打妈妈" and she said back "可以" loudly. I said back firmly again, "不可以!". She started to cry. I think more on-lookers liao...

Bt Timah Hill

We went to Bt Timah Hill for exercise on Sat 19/7/09.

 

Even though we were taking the "easy" way (the main road) up the hill, it was not any easier.

First we have to "pull" the kids up the slope as they had been persipring and trying their best to move up since this is the first time.

 

We finally reached the 2nd hut and spread our coffee and breakfast there. It was still warm even after we rested.

 

We did not make it to the summit because Metta is too tired and have to use the pram instead. Beh and popo make way down slope using the main raod, while Lele and myself use the Catchment Path. It's not easy for us too since Lele and myself have to struggle up and down the stairs and muddy path. It's espeicaly tough for Lele since this is the first time for him to venture into the "forest", however I can see his contented face as he had wanted to trek into the forest.

JS treats to Singapore Flyer

This evening, JS Co invited us to take a flight on Singapore Flyer, it was magnificent.

 

Beh picked us from SP at 515 and then we departed for our flight. Suppose to meet JS at 645 but we are far too early so we take a little walk around had our dinner at Popeye.

 

At 7pm, we started our ride with other members and enjoy the night scenes of our dear Singapore.

 

It was absolutely beautiful. From dusk to sunset to night fall and then totally lited by the twinkles. It made me felt so relax after a long day work.

Father's day lunch

Mummy treat us to lunch on 27 Jun, She said it was a Father's day lunch even though it came 1 week late, Ha ha.

 

There were alot of food and papa always start eating before mummy could take some pictures. Mummy said it was a rare occassion and we seldomly had such wonderful lunch, so she wanted to keep the pictures for good memories.

 

I think mummy like photography very much, we were already so used to mummy taking pictures of us already.

 

I like mushroom, it was so delicious. Mummy said porridge and the "salted egg yolk bao" was so delicious. All of us were fighting over the "salted egg yolk bao", 3 pieces were not enough.

 

See? Meimei and me 干杯 and drink tea.

The most interesting part of this song is, the song is sing from within, ie. the chorus first, then the intro.

The singer is 潘安邦, 民歌王子。 He is the one who sings those songs of my time, like 外婆的彭湖湾, the all time favourite of my time!!!

BBQ at Costa Sand Pasir Ris Chalet

Check this out! It's our annual BBQ 14-15/6/09 again.

 

We booked a chalet at Costa Sand Pasir Ris this June holiday because we preferred not to travel oversea due to H1N1.

 

We checked in on 14 June 09 at 2.30pm and brought all our food, rent a BBQ pit and then transfer everything into the chalet. Around 3.30pm, we went swimming for a while and then Eric's family & Mandy came. Ah Qiang came around 6.30pm and then the kids was so noisy.

 

BBQ started around 5pm. Beh and Eric started the fire and soon we are all eating like crazy, haha, food are so delicious because they are all BBQ by ourselves :)

 

I think the most happiest people are the 3 kids, Krystelle, 乐乐and 宝宝。

6月6日2009年。7.15pm.

 

今晚的月亮也是圆的，因为明天是农历五月十五日。明天也是藏历四月十五日，卫塞节！

 

话说回来，今晚的夜景像不像明月挂在 sakura backdrop 上？

We think that he is creative and these pictures are already very good for a 4 years 5 months old kid, at least in the eyes of us. (I know there are kids who can draw 100% more better too.)

 

I taught him how to draw a car and he is now drawing it better than me.

 

I am also surprised that he can draw a cute butterfly like this.

Teh Tarik

We were early to my work place last Thursday so I brought Le Le to the cafeteria nearby to have breakfast.

 

We ordered Noodle and Bee Hoon and have a cuppa of Teh Tarik!

 

We had a wonderful day that morning.
