Dishes and meals prepared in 1st half month of May 2015

Even since I stop working, I start to prepare and cook at home. From simple dishes to complicated one. Even though I don't prepare complicated dishes, I would sometime love to try. 

I am worry about wasting ingredients and money since I am not working anymore, so I will only cook dishes when I have the confident to, for example, after seeing someone prepared.

Fried potato slices is the dish I prepared most of the time. It's very easy 1 pot dish. You can prepare it as "stir-fried" or prepare it with more soup (more gravy) to drizzle onto your bowl of warm rice. 

As for the teacake, my favourite bake is 100g flour teacake, any flavour. The mass of flour would always be constant (100g). For butter, I always use 50g and 1 whole egg. I will adjust the mass of sugar and wet ingredients such as milk, coconut cream or water.
