CNY 2013

It's the snake year, 2013.

We went over to Chinatown in order to get the feel of CNY.
We met Fann Wong and Christopher Lee in the crowd.

It's always fun to be around the crowd when the festive is around  the corner.

How do you feel?

1st CNY pastry 2013

This is the first CNY pastry of year 2013.

Daji pineapple tarts.

My kids did it together this year and they really enjoy it. 

I made the dough. Then we rolled the pineapple jam into balls. After chilling the pastry for about 30 mins, we took out and starts making the Daji tarts. 

KL put his dough play skill into practise when he started making the leaves. As it was too much to made, we finally gave up shaping, so just press them on, haha.

Last day of 2012 at Botanic Garden

We had picnic at Botanic Garden to "celebrate" last day of 2012.

It was a rainny evening and we had our picnic under a shelter.
It was fun, though a bit humid.

I like the ambience at the Singapore Botanic Garden.

Dining lamp

Our dining lamp looks plain after so many years.
Last night I decided to clean the lamp and give it some glitters. I got this idea from Ikea, I put up some Christmas deco from last years leftover.
I hope a little change could add some difference to our life :-)
