端午节

It's here again the annual Dumpling Festival, Dragon Boat Festival or what we call 端午节 in chinese.

Though I wanted to wrap the dumpling this year but sure tio many commitment and time constrain, I did not carry out my plan. So this year, buy again... My favourite, salted egg dumpling, ha ha ha...

The green string is normal meat dumpling. I do not like nonya dumpling because of the sweet melon, but my hb likes it very much.

I like the kee-chang also but must come with sugar, ha ha ha! ! !  I like those with red bean paste too.

After trying so many types of dumpling, I think i still prefer those with salted egg yolk.

Oo..., I think I am keeping these in the fridge and I wil take them out to steam on the actual day.

Transit of Venus

Out happens on 6 june 2012 between 7 to 12am in singapore. 

We went over to science centre to try our luck for viewing.

I saw the peculiar situation thru a bino wrapped with solar film, yes bino and not y

telescope as science centre stop the queue at 9+...

Very long ago favorite toy

Today let me introduce my favorite toy hero of the past.

It's up there, see? 

His name is Gozilla, he it's as famous as ultraman.

During my primary school age, I watch Japanese tv channel, and I love Gozilla the best. 

6 years and we are back on Star Virgo

The last time we boarded Star Cruise was 6 years ago when I was pregnant
with Metta.
KL was coming 2 years old then.

He was very cute and he loved the lion on the deck looking out to the
sea, protecting the vessel.

We are back on board the same cruise. This time Metta is with us, she is
already 5 years old and KL had grown taller.
Look! He is taller than the lion now. He is back for the same lion, he
says, "Hello" and hug the lion.

Baked muffins, tastes good but not enuf to share.

Cheese and Egg Mayo Buns

My cheese and egg mayo wholemeal buns, baked today.

Cheese one are round while the oval one were wrapped with egg mayo.

I used the TZ method, but many because I add wholemeal, so it don;t look
soft on the outside, but it's soft on the inside!

Recently baked chiffons

I am crazy about baking chiffons, but I can't take chiffon because of
the high sugar content needed to beating the egg whites.

I baked these chiffons for fun and forcing my husband to eat.
