Our Black Molly

After spending so much lovely time feeding the 3 fishes we have, black
fish died today, 15 Mar 2013.

Around 6.30pm, I still see it swimming around, then it lays low below
the water tank. Suddenly I see it dashing up and down the fish tank just
like trying to kill itself. I do not know if it had gone into "fish-stress".
I am hoping that it will be fine.

"Something is wrong, why is black fish swimming like that? Probably he
is dying." I thought in my heart.

Then I feed them.

Around 6.45pm, KL and CW came back from school. When KL look at his
fishes, he came and told me that black fish is dead. My heart sunken. It
was very sad for me because I was the last one who saw it when it was
still alive. I am once again reminded of Buddha's Teaching on Impermanence.

Thank you black fish for the happiness that you had brought us,
celebrating CNY with us.

May you be Blessed and be reborn in Pureland.

HCP dishes - home cook dinner on 3/3/2013

Our dinner on 3 March 2013.

Dishes cooked using HCP once again, after I actually "store-room" it for
quite some time.
I have been using my HC Diamond wok recently, but I decided to take out
my HCP once again :)

2 of my "signature" dishes.

Chicken claypot rice in HCP

Cooking Chicken claypot rice using HCP.
That was 2 weeks ago.
We are cooking it again tommorrow. Bringing it out for picnic.

It's a pity that we do not have salted-fish at home!
It still tastes nice though.

CNY 2013

It's the snake year, 2013.

We went over to Chinatown in order to get the feel of CNY.
We met Fann Wong and Christopher Lee in the crowd.

It's always fun to be around the crowd when the festive is around  the corner.

How do you feel?

1st CNY pastry 2013

This is the first CNY pastry of year 2013.

Daji pineapple tarts.

My kids did it together this year and they really enjoy it.

I made the dough. Then we rolled the pineapple jam into balls. After chilling the pastry for about 30 mins, we took out and starts making the Daji tarts.

KL put his dough play skill into practise when he started making the leaves. As it was too much to made, we finally gave up shaping, so just press them on, haha.

What would be our next project?

Check it out soon.
