Apple Bakery - Banana Chiffon Cake

I baked a banana cake last Friday.

 

The small one still ok, but the big one collapsed.

 

Why? Not enough baking? Not yet set?

 

Taste good though!!!

Apple Bakery- Lemon Chiffon Cake

I bake a lemon chiffon cake on Sunday.

 

Too much lemon juice, too little sugar.  The cake tastes sour, but good with cheese spread.

With cheese spread, it definately taste like cheese cake, haha..

就想说的是，每当我朗诵李白的诗时，满脑子里都是"中国"画面！

浙江，峨嵋，洛阳等，李白先生都在诗里题到。

 

有一种冲动很想马上飞到中国，享受那份寂静，就算有虫鸣，还是比城市宁静。

 

其实，我很喜欢中国。

 

北京，西安，桂林，厦门，上海，苏州，杭州，海南，云南，成都，九寨沟等等旅游景点我都去过了。其实中国很大，还有很多地方我都想去。哈尔滨，蒙古，新疆，西藏，我很想去也。张家界，扬子江，武汉，重庆，南京都没去过。佛教四大名山我也没去过。好想好想啊 $$$

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

圆月

今晚不是十五，但月亮还是圆的！

微风徐徐好不凉爽啊！

 

不仅想起李白大诗人的一首诗，"夜思"。

大家都会的。。。

Corn sprout

Last Saturday we visited D'Kranji Farm and planted some kernel (corn seeding) during a potting activity.

 

The sprout is out now but we are not able to plant as we stay in HDB. The sprouts need to be transfer to a garden patch. Sigh, what should we do?

 

It will takes about 75days to harvest. The plant will grow to about 1.5-2m tall (as seen in the farm). It will harvest sweet corn which can be eaten directly from harvest.

 

If no one wants them, then all sprouts have to go, what a pity

Natural Greenery

We went to Bt Timah Nature Reserve last Sunday, 3 July 2011.

 

Take a look, do you like the greenery? I like the leaves and the trees, and it's really windy too.

 

Metta can climb up quickily than most of us. It was surprise that she is so agile like the monkey, hahaha...

 

It was a long time since we last went to the nature already, next time we should climb up to the top and have our picnic there, yeah!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pink evening

This evening was special, have you seen the pink evening?

 

I want to share it on the phone with my friends, but after I finished taking pictures on my camera, the pink sky turn lighter and the pale blue slowly took over, this phenomenon only occur in a few minutes time. (I think less than 3 minutes!)

 

What a wonderful world!

Look!! The orphans are putting on the shoes which my son & daughter cannot wear.

 

The pink colour shoes on both little girls. Not enuf bo bian, so let the little boy in blue wear girl's shoes also, better than bare-footed.

 

The smile on their faces is worth our donation!
