Did i post up any cheesecake pix?

I failed several cheesecakes before I could have a good one. It either turned out to be cheese-kuey like custard and will not rise or like some people said "no taste".(See one of the pix which I had cut up the "kuey")

The 2 other cakes are successful except that I had been greedy to use 2 baking trays, so I ended up with "shallow" height.

As usual, I said I will not put in alot of sugar, that's why my cake will takes the blend taste! Why do you need to eat so sweet? It's not healthy at all!

This is not easy to make at first but through practise, it's not so difficult too. I have already mastered the niche in it, although I might get kuey if I had overbeat the batter. Haha..

Le Le likes to help me with the cheese preparation etc... that's why we had "overbeating" because a child's hand is slower. Anyway it's the joy of process.

Lose the cake but gain the bonding, haha!!

Chocolate chips cake for mother's day

Apple bakery presents chocolate chips cake for mother's day.

Happy Mother's day.

I bake this chocolate cake toppings with chips on the Election Day itself. It's meant for mother's day. I put in also walnuts to enhance the taste. I like to prepare a cake with egg yolks and white separated so that it could taste better. If you want to make muffins, you don't need to separate the eggs though, the texture will come out rough and chunks, that's so far my experience I have gain from baking, haha.

I could only bake a simple cake like this, I don't like to bother with frosting or icing, making everything like so sweet and unhealthy.

It tastes good although it's not so sweet. That's my purpose. I told them that if they like it sweet, pour the maple syrup over instead so that everyone could taste the cake of their own choice.

Today went to 拳气道, no choice, bakache very bad and painful.
After done the Tuina, even more brutal and painful, backache is still painful and leg is still pain.

Juz wondering should I go to the hospital for Xray?

Sad.

Rice Balls

I made these rice balls for Kai Le's lunch on Monday 25 Apr 2011!
The BASC is closed so I need to take a day off to look after him and bring KL to school. I enjoy myself today very much.

Suppose to bring the bubble to blow in Botanic Garden, but Beh forget, so gotta let them play behind the car boot else they would not want to go home.

Carrot cake and Green Tea cake

Apple Bakery presents Carrot-apple cake and Green tea cake!

I baked these 2 cakes.

The round one is carrot-apple cake. I shave in some almonds as well and it makes the cake taste crunchier.

The 2nd one is actually "Green Tea" cake, but it turned out brown becuase I over baked and I used brown sugar. There is not enough green tea powder. However, there is really green tea flavour in it! Almond in also.

As usual, I will not put in so much sugar so as to promote healthy eating. I cannot tolerate a mouthful of sweet stuff in my mouth. (I usually do not take candies!)

Haha...

Rainny evening

This evening was rainning heavily.
At first it wasquite sunny. Then the sky turns grey. Perhaps it has all the while been grey.
When I was almost reaching home, the rain was still very big, but the sun cannot wait to set.

NEX waterplay

We are at the Nex today.

 

This is at the kidzplay area, very nice water features and very fun for kids as well.

 

Luckily the weather was not very hot and both of them enjoy their water play very much.
