1st week May - Mother is suppose to go for gallbadder operation but was cancelled after waiting for few hours in the hospital due to no bed for admission.
Operation was re-scheduled to July
3rd week July - Mother successfully admitted on 23 Jul
10am - Operation scheduled time
- Get changed into operation gown
Waited and waited and waited, until 1pm, junior doctor said that the surgeon was tied up in an emergency liver transplant and cannot determine when the operation will end, so call off the operation again.
1.30pm - Mother eat and drink, disconnect the saline, changed back and all ready to go home.
How about the charging $$$???
Waited and waited and waited for discharge.
3pm - Nurse come to ask have mother eaten? Surgeon personally come to ask mother to choose 2 options
Option 1 - Queue and wait till 8pm to see if the OT is available
Option 2 - Change date, change to next Wednesday
Both options incurred that extra day charges already...
8pm - Nurse called to inform that mother had been wheeled in
10.15pm - I called to hospital but mother is still in OT, not back to ward yet
Worries and worries and more worries now...
It's 11.45pm and still no telephone call, why?
